Greetings friends,
Please feel free to share the attached flyer and application with anyone who may be interested.  Completed applications can be sent back to me.  If filling out the application is a challenge, have folks call me and I can walk them through it (number below or they can find me on facebook messenger).  School staff- I know you are all just coming back, so let me know if there is a potential participant you recommend that I can follow up with via phone or email.  We would like all applications by Aug 29 at the latest.

This is a 1-week gathering to connect with young indigenous folks, ages 18-25, to hear their voices and vision for corps programs and to share the various opportunities that exist in our outdoor world.  We complete daily natural resource & conservation service projects, listen to each other and outside speakers, learn about pathways and share meals & stories around the fire.  We have a wonderful project partner at Yellowstone National Park and we have alumni leaders who take the reins in overseeing it.  It’s a great time to be in the park with the elk in rut!  Participants do not need to have been in a MCC or YCC program before and it’s a good intro if they think they might like to do something similar in the future.

It is FREE and meals, lodging and gear are covered.  We will also provide transportation (I can make the rounds and find other staff if we have participants from multiple communities).  We have space for 10 participants.   Any questions, please holler.
