The HSSI is a 4-week program for TCU students who are interested in learning about health sciences research from an indigenized perspective. The program includes virtual activities as well as two weeks on the University of North Dakota’s campus in Grand Forks where students receive instruction from the Indigenous Health Department faculty. Students do NOT need to be enrolled in a health or sciences major to participate. AIHEC covers the full cost of their participation, including travel, accommodations, per diem, and a stipend for completing the full program.
The 2025 program will take place from June 9 – July 4, 2025.
Applications are LIVE and accessible at this link. We also have an info session on April 8th for students—registration is available here.
